The release of the Poker Club game on Series X has been announced. The independent studio Ripstone Games, a studio accustomed to adaptations of card games and board games, plans its release for the end of 2020 on the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and on the Xbox Series X.
Poker Club, the new poker simulation game
Poker Club wants to become the ultimate poker experience. It was developed under Unreal Engine 4 and offers players a real visual and social experience. Ripstone Games presents it as “the most immersive and collective poker simulation ever imagined”.
Crossplay is the heart of this new simulation game. As a poker player, you will be able to find your friends, and all poker fans during tournaments. The experience of games with jackpots will be transcribed in this simulation game.
As a player, you will be able to join a club or create your own. Within these clubs, you will participate in customizable private games, evolve in closed rankings and cooperate on objectives in order to win rewards. Together with your teammates, you will become professional poker players.
Various game modes
You will be able to choose between several game modes to satisfy your passion for poker. Behind-the-scenes games and major big-budget events will be featured in the immersive online career mode. You can take part in single-table tournaments, multi-table Freezouts, Shootouts, Turbos, Super Turbos, Bounties… The challenge of the PPC Poker Tour can be taken up and Texas Hold'em tournaments will be offered.
A poker game including Smart Delivery support on Series X
Smart Delivery is a program initiated by Microsoft for its Xbox Series X. The objective is to be able to buy a game and play it without constraint on Xbox One or Xbox Series X. With this program you no longer have to buy different versions of the same game to play on two different consoles. If you own a Smart Delivery game on Xbox One, you will therefore get its Xbox Series X version at no additional cost. Thanks to this, Microsoft continues its ecosystem logic. Smart Delivery is optional, not all games will offer it.
The Studio behind the creation of the Poker Club game on Series X ensures that the game will offer a 4K experience at 60 frames per second. If this information is correct, it will also be on Xbox One thanks to the Smart Delivery program.
