About Me 2

Hi there, I’m Caroline Mae, a 44-year-old mom of two from Asheville, North Carolina, and the heart behind every spoonful of goodness you’ll find in my kitchen. My journey into the world of gluten-free, vegan, and sugar-free cooking didn’t begin in a culinary school or a trendy food blog—it began in my own home, out of love and necessity.

Years ago, juggling two young kids, a demanding job, and my own health issues, I realized something had to give. Processed foods were easy, but they left me and my family feeling drained and unsatisfied. I wanted more for my kids and myself—more nourishment, more connection, more joy around the dinner table. That’s when I started experimenting with clean, wholesome ingredients that could work for our busy lifestyle and dietary needs. It wasn’t always perfect; there were burnt pans and confused looks from my kids at first. But slowly, we found our rhythm.

Now, my kitchen is a sanctuary of simplicity and heart. I believe that meals made from the heart taste better than anything from a box. And they don’t have to take hours or a chef’s degree. With every recipe I create, I think of other moms like me: tired but determined, looking for easy wins that nourish their families. My mission is to share recipes that are ready in 30 minutes or less, that taste amazing, and that make you feel like a hero in your own home.

Whether it’s a chickpea curry that comforts on a rainy day or a no-bake, sugar-free treat that disappears before the kids get home, I’m here to guide you step by step. My goal is to make clean eating feel doable, even joyful. I offer printable recipes, weekly meal ideas via email, and a private group where we share tips, laughter, and those little victories that matter.

I’m not perfect—some days dinner is late, and the dishes pile up. But I believe in showing up with love, a wooden spoon, and a dash of cinnamon. If you’re looking for meals that are simple, healthy, and made from the heart, you’re in the right place. Let’s build this table of goodness together.
